Lincoln has one of the lowest vacancy rates. It is home to University of Nebraska - Lincoln, Wesleyan University and Union College. The city just opened up to short term rentals ( Home Away/VRBO/Airbnb) and as soon as the football program can get to back to "normal" the short term rental market will explode.
Investment Price Points
Lincoln offers anywhere from a single family homes to large apartment complexes. single family homes around the down town area will be older homes and sell 150,000.00 and up and will rent 1300.00 and up. we also have a market for executive rentals. homes in the 300,000. range rents would be around 2800.00 to 3500.00 depending on finishes. duplexes and apartments will run 600. per month-1500.00 depending on age and finishes. converted homes that are now triplexes rents are less but so is the space.
