About Brian Dinkel
I have been involved in real estate for the past 9 years as an investor. Personally I have owned single family rentals and have flipped homes since I began investing in real estate.
It’s always important when investing in real estate that you assemble a team that will help you make the best investment decisions possible. One of the key players to any good investment team is a Realtor that understands investing. Investing in real estate should not be an emotional experience. You should always base your decisions on how much the numbers make sense. Having an agent that can not only help you find potential investments, but one that understands what makes a good investment is important.
Being involved in transactions of my own as well as my experience with complete home renovations, I feel that I am able to bring something to the table that many agents can’t. I’d love the opportunity to discuss investing in the Kansas City market.
Why invest in the Kansas City market? Good question, and one that I frequently get from investors around the country. One thing to understand about Kansas City is that our market has been much more stable than the markets on the East and West Coast. We have enjoyed a very stable employment rate, our housing prices are right around the national median, and unlike those markets on the coast we did not have the huge price swings in real estate during the last recession.
With real estate being as affordable as it is in the metro, it makes it a little easier to find properties that are affordable and offer good cash flow to the buy and hold investor. All of this of course depends on the areas you choose to invest in and what your ultimate goal is when it comes to real estate investing.
