About Jake Roland
Jake Roland loves the creative side of real estate and looking at each deal from multiple angles to always get the best results. Jake grew up in a house on a dirt road in Auburn, AL, and his family taught him the importance of owning real estate. They constructed several homes on the family land and as he got older taught him how to lay floor tile, do plumbing repairs, and other useful skills that he would begin to use on his own projects starting in 2017. Jake and his high school sweetheart, Ansley, closed on their first property in Opelika only a day before they got married, and began renovating it shortly after their wedding. That first house fueled them to buy and renovate several more homes and commercial spaces in the next couple of years and they are on track to do many more as time goes on. Jake has a passion for the restoration of older homes and neighborhoods especially in Opelika, and is excited to be a part of the growth and revitalization happening in Lee County.

Market Overview
Auburn is a college town and the Auburn-Opelika area is one of the fastest growing small metro areas in the south. Opelika has been named one of the best small towns by Southern Living many times and the A+ city school systems in Auburn draw a lot of family renters to move to Auburn. There is a steady supply of student rentals as well, and homes are relatively affordable and market rents are high. Good cash flow can be made as well as appreciation as even though the market is slowing overall in 2023 so far, prices continue to climb in our market.
Investment Price Points
Entry level price points for investment in our Auburn-Opelika market is $125-190,0000 and includes mostly small older B neighborhood single family homes in Opelika or smaller, older condo units in Auburn. Not many multi family opportunities in our area, as it is either duplexes or 100+ unit buildings and not much inbetween.
