The greater Asheville area has become a destination for homeowners, retirees and investors due to the heavy demand for housing and rental stock (short term or long term).

Investment Price Points

Entry level price points would be from $200,000 - $300,000 for B or C neighborhoods and positive cash flows with at least 20 percent down. Mid level price points would be from $300,000 - $450,000 for A neighborhoods and yield positive cash flows with at least 20 percent down. Cap rates for multifamily are currently in the 6-8 percent range on average with limited inventory available across all price points currently.
